BethaBlip 47...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

I think that with my living a 5 minute drive from the site of the Loony Dook, the first BethaBlip of the year will always be on the 2nd.

Bethany's nativity play at nursery was this month. She played a Star this year.

We travelled for christmas again this year. Spending Christmas Eve and Day with Family C and Boxing day with Family K. Bethany found a new friend in Uncle Coco's girlfriend Karen. They were getting on brilliantly all day and they got her a wicked massive tutu skirt thing for christmas. We got Bethany a big easel which she's been having loads of fun with.

Intersting wee tidbit. Bethany started writing wee messages here and there. One was on her new easel. Her mum asked her to go and find her handbag. She came through to her easel that was sitting under the stairs and asked me how to write 'Wanted', then 'lost', then 'hand' and finally 'bag'. She decided to write Wanted, Lost handbag on her blackboard.

Bethany went with the ladies of family K to the panto in Glasgow just after christmas. Bit of a shame, but she didn't make it all the way through and we had to pick them up and get her home. She was running a temperature and was sick a couple of times on the way home. Only lasted 24 hours so she's doing fine now.
