The River

We dropped the kids off to see Katherine, Clive and Joanne this afternoon and we took the dogs out to Lazonby for a walk along the river.

It was lovely and peaceful, the quiet broken only by my voice sounding like I smoke 40 woodbines a day (Do they even make them anymore, there was a woman that used to smoke them on our street when I was a kid) and the cough that goes with it!!

Tai had a wonderful time, she got to get wet in the river; she has not managed that for weeks - it must be nice to have such simple pleasures in life!!!

I'm home now, ready to get going with my second 5000 word essay, while the wonderful Jane retypes the last one which mysteriously went missing from my computer!!
