History.

I've been thinking about spending this week doing blips about things that are historical, but personal in a way.

These documents (copies of Wills and property deeds) came with our house and start from 1829. I loved them as a kid, the history and the insight into who owned our house, who they left it to in their wills, and how it gave almost a mini-history to our small town - the family of Lawyers spanning the centuries being one of them. These probably helped spark my interest in history, and literature - the language is wonderfully wordy.

The stamp is an official mark showing G.R. for George IV. I'm assuming.
