Dark Haired Stranger

This wee thing was the first stranger to cross our threshold today.

She came home from the closed vet clinic with K this afternoon. The kitten and the six year old (and his Mom) who thawed her from the spot where she had frozen to the ground arrived serendipitously at the clinic while K and her boss were there doing their periodic check. She had a temperature too low to register but she is on IV fluids and pain meds for frostbite now and her prognosis is pretty good. She will need to have her tail amputated because it had frozen solid. She purrs continuously.

Her rescuers want to keep her. The small boy who discovered her has already named her Lucky.
