A welcome sight..

Finally went over to Lincoln today to see my family & deliver Christmas presents. We meant to go before Christmas but first there was snow, then there was flu so we were running late. It is a 2 & a half hour journey and I've got lots of people to see while we're there so it is a busy day.

Didn't quite see everyone I wanted to, but got to see my Mum & Dad, my aunty Jean who's there for Christmas, both my brothers, my niece (though not my nephews) and my 2 (ex) stepdaughters. It was a bit like a military operation but we stayed longer than planned at our last stop of the day so didn't set off home till 7.30 pm.

By that time we were starving, my Mum had fed us sandwiches at 12 but that seemed a long time ago. So a takeaway when we got nearer home seemed the best bet.

Chinese takeaway in Bidford on Avon - a very welcome sight! Actually not the best Chinese we've eaten & we regretted not going for an Indian but it was much needed food after a long day. And I'm very happy to have seen most of my extended family for the first time for ages, I miss them.
