Dusk at Cape Spear

I must have spent the last hour trying to decide which image of Cape Spear to post here. I have several interesting ones but had to make a decision so here it is... I like the green glow of the lighthouse light.

Cape Spear is the most easterly point in North America and seemed a fitting place for my first blip of the New Year. This is where the sun rises first in this country and on the entire continent. At the westernmost end of Canada, the first day of 2011 didn't start for another 4.5 hours (5 times zones away).
