Low tide exploration

A slow day at work gave me an unexpected and much needed day off. I met up with my Mom and Riley at the marina and we fed gulls and watched Riley discovering the joys of jumping in puddles! After that, Riley needed new (and dry) shoes..so we went to the mall for some shopping! Two pairs of shoes, three pairs of pants, two shirts and 5 pairs of socks later, we were done shopping for Riley :) After that we had a nice lunch at Friendlys restaurant, then hung out at home for a bit. When it was clear Riley was not into napping, we headed to beach. It was low tide, so we were able to walk out on the sand bars and Riley got to collect "treasures"...mostly sea shells, one rock, and something that was kinda questionable, to which I just declared "icky."
