The Mountain

In Seattle "The Mountain" is Mt. Rainier and there she was on New Year's morning in full glory. There are only a few spots in the city where you can get a view without a lot of competing buildings and such on the skyline. This was one.

I don't make New Years Resolutions but I certainly have some hopes for 2011. One is to be able to hike the Wonderland Trail through the Sierra Club for 10 days in September. I am presently wait-listed #5. May 5 people decide for some reason that they are unable to go!
