Smile!

First of all Happy New Year to blipper friends! Bb and I had a nice night last night in a restaurant here in SP. The Paulista style of bringing in the new year is less exhuberant and more 'contained' than the Carioca (Rio) style, but still lots of good food in lovely surroundings. The night stopped earlier here too with the live Brasilian music stopping at 12.30, a bit early even for us! Luckily the restaurant was only a 20 minute walk away, which was just as well as it was impossible to get a taxi and we had to do the almost unthinkable thing here in SP and walk home in the dark! Went to one of our favourite restaurants today, Bar de las Artes for lunch. I'm definitely reaching my limit of too much food and think I just want toast and tea for my next meal! I took lots of shots around the restaurant today as it's set in beautiful gardens with water fountains, flowers etc, but the pic that stands out for me today was Bb's lovely smiling face and so here it is! I think Brasil suits him! Wishing you all the best for 2011 blippers!
