This is what failure looks like

So the snow has cleared and there is finally a window of opportunity to get back out on the road bike.

Only I haven't cycled any distance for 3 months or so and bit off more than I could chew. Cold, the undulations of the A70 and a distinct lack of energy meant that I eventually gave up the ghost and called for N to pick me up...
