Watching the lanterns

The sky was red orange from the fireworks and street lights. We just had to be outside - even though it was freeeezing with icy rain spitting down. Maybe it was the alcohol, but the colour of the sky seemed to warm everything up. It really was that colour (carrying on the theme from yesterday's entry!) The streaks in the sky are the Chinese lanterns....... they were going up for a few hours and quite addictive watching. I want one!!! Maybe my birthday in Feb.... watch this space.
