Come on in, the water's lovely
We went to South Queensferry for the annual Loony Dook, since several blippers were taking part. This was the view from the harbour wall once they started plunging in. Four of the lifeboat crew stood in the water in their dry suits leaving three in the boat ready to scoop out anyone who got into trouble. We didn't identify any blippers at the time; it was only later that I discovered EcoDad at the centre of one shot, unfortunately rather out of focus. Well, it was either him or Antony Gormley.
Photo cameos, postie, TFP and SPS all dooked, and queenie captured four of them in the throng. Congratulations one and all.
If you go large on this you may be able to see the expressions of shock on some of the faces; we could certainly hear the screams.
Happy new year, blippers!
For viewers unfamiliar with South Queensferry, it is the same small town where thishappens in August every year. Must be something in the water. ;-)
