Happy New Year!

The first Edinburgh derby on New Year's Day for 13 years! An eagerly awaited spectacle and ferociously fought for a while - Hibs picking up three yellow cards in the opening 15 minutes (they were lucky one wasn't red). But in the end, class prevailed (these maroon glasses are wonderful). That's the back of Kenny MacAskill's heid, by the way.

So, to the Diggers afterwards and a bit of a sing song - curtailed from time to time by worried bar staff as apparently some wassock has bought the flat upstairs and has been complaining about the noise to the Council. Like, he didn't think that's why it was a cheap flat? Tonight, off to F's with my unopened Linkwood 15yr old. Let joy be unconfined!
