The first slice.

We like to cut the Christmas cake on new year's day. It's always awkward getting the first slice out so it's not very neat. In Yorkshire the cake is served with a piece of Wensleydale cheese. If you've never tried it, give it a go it's a delicious combination.
The Dog & Gun was packed last night and it was a very good evening. Food was free, company was good, music was loud and we won a bottle of wine in the raffle - can't be bad. Been a bit of a limp day today though!
