Building Sn3 and N Worlds

Here's to 2011

OK - no model train but I could not resist this one. At least, that is the narrow gauge track you see in between the railings. We had 14 inches of snow a couple of days ago and now, when I take this picture, it is 10 below zero F. Even the dog hesitated to go out.

Today is our traditional day to take down all the Christmas decorations. Up in one day, down in one. I actually love both days. Today is always a new beginning and really, a new chapter.

And - today I get peanut butter for lunch. And red hot blue chips (potato chips for you folks in the UK).

2010 was good for us. We dodged a very big bullet, got settled in our new place, sold our old place, saw my brother and sister-in-law for TG for the first time since 1968 or so, and are healthy. Both sons are good - even had G here for Chgristmas and last night (he lives in town). The economy is struggling as are many people so we are truely lucky - and we know it.

All the best to all of you for 2011.
