Jack and the Beanstalk

I was told about a month ago that two of my friends would be taking me out tonight but they wouldn't tell me where.

For about 13 years we have all been going to the panto before Christmas but this year I missed it because I was away in Sweden :(

When they told me I'd be going out with them somewhere I suspected it could be the panto, until I received a text from one of them telling me to wear a bikini under my clothes, and to bring a pineapple and a rusty key with me!

So my entire family was playing along making up all these random clues about what it could be, and I was starting to get pretty scared by the time they turned up at my house to pick me up...

I left the house wearing my bikini under my clothes, carrying a pineapple and a key in my bag. Then we walked down the way towards the King's and we had just passed it when they both stopped and said "Oh wait... are we not going to the King's?" "Oh yeah... Is it not the panto?"

So I was very happy and very surprised. Andy Grey had returned from Glasgow and was on form, as was Alan Stewart and Grant Stott. Next year we'll all be 18 so we're already planning on going to Bennet's and buying each of them a pint after the show!

We were in the Upper Circle this year since they booked the tickets quite late, and as the end came and they started to play "Rockin' All Over The World" we stood up like every one else usually does, and no one in the Upper Circle stood up with us! And we could see everyone else below us standing up and we just looked like three idiots annoying the people behind us. But we didn't want to sit down again so we tried to say as loudly as possible "WHY ISN'T ANYONE ELSE STANDING UP?" and "LOOK! Everyone down there is!" but it didn't work so we just had to look like we were loving it... (Which I think secretly we were)
