Duvet day

These two stayed awake until the bells last night for the first time. Their big sister called it a day at ten minutes before midnight when she was just in sight of the finish.

Today has consequently been a bit of a duvet day but without the low energy levels from them that I was hoping for or the grumpiness I was fearing.

A day for dog walking, communal eating, swapping stories, looking through old photos and just chilling out. A great way to start the new year in fact.
