Hydro Electric being made at the lake

The hydro installation at Bermejales Lake was made along with the reservoir in 1954. The lake generates 2,700Kw of power and that supplies our village, measuring 28 Km in circumference it holds 102.6 Hm3 of fresh Sierra water. It supplies the towns on the coasts and we can only swim in it, no boats, no fishing, it is strictly protected.
