Enjoying the break

It's quite mild out and lots of people are out enjoying the sea today. Even the small yachts had some racing this morning. Now the tide is out and there are lots of people walking out on the sands. Years ago this used to be a sandy beach where we played as kids, but tons of pebbles were brought in to shore up the sea defences. Sad in a way, but if they weren't there we'd have more flooding than we do occasionally. Now the sand only reappears at low tide.

We're awaiting daughter 2 & family to arrive for a games evening. Wonder what games they'll bring this time.
