Scruffy Tit

This is one of a pair of blue tits that live in the wall of our bedroom. He looks a bit scruffy this time of year but I guess I would if I had to live outside in this weather.

The second floor of our house is a wooden frame with hung slate on the outside and I put a mesh screen around the bottom to stop birds and bees nesting, unfortunately I forgot to do the balcony door and the tits have nested there ever since. They don't seem to cause a problem just make a few scritching noises in the wall at dawn.

Bertie says "Thanks" to those who asked after him (in cat talk), he is feeling a lot better today thanks to some nice honey last night and some more food and insulin this morning.
