Family Tradition

This is the Monk. It was given to someone in the family as a white elephant gift originally. And as a joke for as long as I can remember my mom's family have passed it back and forth to each other on special events. Sometimes it will crop up the next holiday or be kept till people forget who has it and then is passed on again. My grandmother decided to decorate and make costumes for it and so we'll dress it up and add things to it each time it's exchanged. It's really a fun joke, but we get a lot of use out of it ;p

Had christmas with mom's family last night, and this was given to my grandfather this time from my parents and I, who knows where it will go next ^-^
