Happy New Year Across The Miles!

We were pleasantly surprised tonight, when Boy called in at the back of Midnight to wish us Happy New Year!

They had just come in from the "Pickle Drop". Yes, New York, Times Square has the Ball Drop; Mount Olive has the Pickle Drop", and even more amusing: they have the Pickle Drop at the Same time we have New Year Bells - 12 Midnight Here - 7 PM there. so that they are celebrating GMT Time!? How Strange is that?

Boy and GF also had the Prize for the Furthest Travelled! - And Won a Box of Mixed Pickles! How Lucky Are They??

Yes, My Son is staying in the Town of Pickles. He is currently trying to convince them that they aren't Pickles, they are Gherkins - Much in the Same Way he has spent the last semester trying to convince his English Professor, that because Boy is British, he has a better grasp of the English Language than him!

Hmmm. I love my kids confidence!
