New Year's Eve

The treat on New Year's Eve here is the oliebol, the warm doughnut topped with snowwhite icing sugar, and thus we line up at the stand to buy our portion of sweet delight for this final day of the year. And apart from this sweet treat we all eat, most boys, papa's and grandpapa's behave today like 10 year olds throwing crackerjacks all day long and now coming with the delightfull fireworks as it is dark like midnight.
