This is simply our favourite champagne!

James proposed with a magnum of it which had a tag saying "Will you marry me?" on it Christmas Day 2003.

We drank it when our families met for the first time Spring 2004.

We toured the Pol Roger chateau and cellars in July 2007 - go to the archive entry here to see how much free champagne we tasted at the end of the tour!

James gave me a jereboam for my 40th in August 2009 - which we've still to find the right occasion to drink.

We will be having some tonight.

And we've been lucky enough to drink it on several occasions in-between times.
