Moon and ... planet?

I woke up a bit early for the holidays, and decided after the beautiful sunset I wanted to get a bit of the sunrise. However, when I got up it was still a bit dark, and the best view for a sunrise has my Granny in it at the moment. But then I saw the moon, and decided to try and get a photo. Unfortunately I wasn't sure where the tripod was, and it was so dark I had to use long exposure. This meant it is a bit blurry ... but still, a nice memory of this morning!

I thought it was just a bright star near the moon, but my mum said she thought it might be Venus, and that my uncle told her you could see Jupiter brightest. Does anyone know?
