After discovering that my first (and also, my second) year's car service is completely free (for reasons unknown - I can't find it included anywhere in the documentation I got when I bought the thing), I had a wee bit of spare cash from all the overtime, so I bought a pair of these from the Schuh sale.

Always wanted a pair of Merrells, and these are as comfy as. They're outdoor walking type shoes, but after wearing walking boots for the past month (what with the heavy snow in Scotland recently), I love the comfort and grip these type of shoes have.

Maybe it's just another sign I'm getting old, and growing out of trainers. :-/
