Pizelles from Tookie and Big R

A week ago Tookie, aka Clare, posted a blip of Big R making pizelles, carrying on one of his family holiday traditions. I commented that I am not a big fan of pizelles, but Bob loves them, so would she please forward a few to Ohio for him. Now, my comment was strictly tongue-in-cheek as we live more than 2000 miles east of Tookie and Big R, but that didn't stop Tookie. Being the thoughtful and caring Blipper we have come to know through her Blip journal, she did exactly that.

Yesterday a little package arrived in the mail. I opened it and there were 14 picture-perfect pizelles: seven peppermint and seven anise, a gift from a lovely, caring friend I have made through Blipfoto. Who knew our Blipfoto journals could lead to such wonderful friendships? The Christmas card that came with the package read in part..."here's for Bob who helped one of our favorite blippers get along last year when she fell and broke her arm!! Happy New Year to you both!"

You are very special people! Thank you for being so thoughtful. You can see from the picture that Bob is enjoying your wonderful pizelles.
