Always a bridesmaid?

This is the fake bouquet of roses I was given as the bridesmaid in someone's wedding.

I am no longer friends with this person, because of her behavior at the wedding.

Bridezillas have nothing on her. She even chopped her own first dance in half so she could cut the cake and eat it, while her guests were still being served food. She only offered one drink(lemonade), except for the wedding party(we got iced sweet tea). Even the DJ, her good friend(and my best friend), who had acid reflux and could not safely drink lemonade, was forced to drink it. I gave him my tea.

Needless to say, I have learned what I will not do at my wedding, should go I through any sort of marriage ceremony.

"Always a bridesmaid, never a bride" seems an appropriate statement for me.

Not that I haven't come close...as seen here, in the blip of my broken engagement ring..

Maybe some day, the right person will come along. For now, though, I will remain the perpetual bridesmaid.
