I'm perfectly sober!

I woke up this morning at 6:30am with a distinct case of Empty House Syndrome. Not often that I get it, but today, I did. So, it was good that I was meeting friends for lunch at their house.

Here is my friend Andrew trying to convince his 2 stepsons that he was perfectly sober (he wasn't ;-)

Andrew is one of my favourite people and is basically the brother I never had. I've known him for 16 years and love him dearly. He's seen the best and the worst in me but has stuck by me and for that, I am eternally grateful.

We had a wonderful day, even though Jack & Matthew (aged 16 and 14) beat us all at Scalextric. It was the Quantum of Solace edition - that Aston Martin is tricky to steer after a couple of glasses of fizz!
