On Duty

I'm back-posting this, along with lots of other pictures. Went through a period here where I found it so hard to post every day. I didn't want to sit at the computer at night. I didn't want to think of anything to write. I wondered what the point of taking a photo a day was when I resorted to taking a picture of just any old thing (not that my sweet little dog is just any old thing, but seriously, this was a zero-effort shot.) I wanted this to be a journal, something to look back on and remember...but it kind of loses that purpose when I don't post for weeks and then can't remember what happened on that day.

I keep plugging away. I want to make it to the end of the year with a photo a day. Then what? Who knows?
