Pied Piper of Pied Poultry

The snow has melted and its been grey and misty most of the day ... i saw three Roe Deer in the woods and was heading off to try and get closer for some photos when I realised that I was being followed, Pier Piper-esque by a posse of pied poultry.

They were following me because they've been getting an extra feed in the afternoon during the snowy weather and I suppose that a camera probably looks like some fancy form of feed scoop to these guys.

(If you've been following my blips, you'll know these are Light Sussex chickens and some of these guys have been blipped at a day old and up).
