New Sound...

I remember the last really good sound I found. If you take a full ream of unopened A4 paper, hold it up by the edges and then tap the middle of the underside, it makes a wonderful thick 'bonk' sound.

Today, I found another wonderful sound. If you walk down Limekilns beach, toward the water at low tide. Walk past the seaweed layer and just after it there is a stratum of thousands of small long vacated shells. If you hit the soft sand, you've gone too far.

Take your shoe and run it across the top of this layer of shells and you get a brilliant water falling clicky sound.
