Hope on the High Street

No, that's not Hope.

That's a cormorant. On the river. Don't see that very often.

This is Hope. Who I bumped into on the High Street later in the morning.

Mum and Dad arriving any minute now. Brisket has been slavered in olive oil, cumin, coriander, garam masala and has been in the oven on a very low heat for the past five hours. So the house smells lovely and the kids are gazing intently out of the window looking for their presents grandparents.

Might even get a sneaky pint with the auld feller later.
