inspired by a postcard

Have you ever changed your travel plans because you saw a beautiful postcard of a particular place? Well, we did it today and I'm so happy about our decision.
This is a landscape near Ohakune with glorious Mount Ruapehu in the background.
I saw and photographed a bunch of amazing things today including geysirs and acid lakes, but I can't help myself being "a mountain person" ;-)
