Yesterday we took the tree and some decorations down. Today we bought some more. Well, who could resist at 49p from Ikea? They will go in the decoration box for next year and be a lovely surprise as I will have forgotten all about them.

We also had a bit of a revelation - Rory and Liam got to play in the free play area for an hour, whch meant a far more pleasurable shopping experience for us all. Callum was too old and Farrah too young, so he played with her in the shop. Here they are, playing Prince and Princess. I'd recommend dumping your kids in the play area anytime.

We may have to go back in May, when Farrah turns 3, just to have a full child free hour.
