Simple pleasures (or treasures) from Grandma's basement!!!

With the huge blizzard on Wednesday, my brother went exploring in Mom's basement for fort building tools and alternate transportation. He found this old shovel which was just the right size for the boys. The red sled was a Christmas present for my brother about 35 years ago. The children had a great time playing in the yard on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning as well as Thursday's sliding adventure (see yesterday's blip).

Now it's time to put these treasures back in the basement until the children visit again. Seems rather quiet around here today........
