The plaque
I had planned to show the house where Laurence Stephen Lowry lived and worked for nearly 40 years. Lowry is probably best known for his industrial scenes populated by human figures often referred to as "matchstick men".In fact he painted far more diverse subjects some dark and disturbing, excellent portraits and others which are quite amusing. The property itself is not in very good repair at the moment, with litter in the garden etc, so I chose to just show the plaque on the wall.
