First claim to fame!

Weather dismal today again so started clearing out and tidying up. However when doing this I find I am always distracted by interesting wee bits and pieces I come across....such as today's blip!.

Our Andrew sent a poem and drawing into a Blue Peter competition in 1991 and was lucky enough to be one of the winners. His prize was a soft toy puffin , Blue Peter badge and his poem published in the Blue Peter 'Animals Matter' paperback!

We had just visited New Zealand for the first time the previous year and this obviously inspired him.

ps I had better run for cover in case he reads this! He is now 25 :)
