Joy!
Once upon a time, Paul and Annie were stuck and couldn't figure out what to do next. They had a dream, knew it was right, but didn't know the next step. Along came our dear friend asking if her son could trade some labor for a discount on rent for awhile. A win-win, my favorite thing!!
He, his wife and their two little girls moved into Annie's Cottage and we shared our ideas and dream with them. We rented the equipment and bought the materials and he went to work excavating the pathways and laying the foundation for the garden shed, coordinating with dump trucks and workmen and helping wherever they could. The little girls squealed and ran for hugs when we arrived for visits. It was a very special time at the Cottage.
Tonight, their little family...girls a little older....returned to the Cottage for the first time since their move to the valley!!! What joy to hear the girls squeal as they ran up the stairs to greet us with big hugs and laughter! We are so blessed to be able to thank them in this special way for all they did to help make Annie's Cottage a living dream.
