a young man in Venice

Some of my art. This is one side of a "skinny" page (4" x 8") for my good friend Frieda, Art Quilter. We are in a mixed media exchange together where we create skinny pages for other artists based on their theme.

Frieda loves all things Venice, and that is her theme! This side of the page I did for her features a photograph of my son Dallas, next to a canal in Venice, transfered or rather copied onto fabric. Then I embellished it with machine and hand stitching, beads and sequins.
