In spite of the weather...

the rugby went ahead at Sixways today. This game was postponed from Boxing Day due to 10 inches of snow on the pitch and it was touch and go whether they'd get the pitch ready for today.

They used a couple of JCBs and all the staff & lots of volunteers spent the day clearing the pitch, the pathways & enough of the car park to use.

This photo was taken about 2.15/2.30 pm - they had to put the floodlights on from kick-off as it was so misty. Needless to say, lots of the play was at the other side of the pitch so we had to peer through the murkiness to try and see what was going on.

Another good win for the Warriors, 45-7 against Moseley. I'll think of that next time I get stuck in traffic driving through Moseley on my way to work in Birmingham.
