Liberated

Liberated from its Christmas garb (yes, I know I'm a misanthropic person) I suspect this mini Christmas tree will make afine addition to our balcony plants, which are presently in a sad drowned state having suffered previously freezing conditions and a surfeit of snow. Poor things. I'll be curious to see which ones survive until the spring.

In other news, I've done a comprehensive post festive clean up of the flat, and we've just bought a basil plant and we're going to have yet another probably unsuccessful attempt to propagate basil. Other than that, I'm just about to start on my pile of holiday (i.e. work-related) reading that I don't get a chance to do normally.
