Side on it looks like a double headed Minoan axe with the trumpet shape. I love the velvety depth and the curved stamens.

Weather at last starting to thaw for a short time before the next bout. The birds are getting pretty desperate though and as we have had some more interesting types in the graden I guess food is running out in the surrounding countryside.
