There's a thaw! Well in fact it has thawed, but it was starting when I took a photo of this male chaffinch eating a sunflower heart, the green grass gave it away peeking out of the snow! At last back to normality - the birds weren't quite as hungry today or as numerous - but the birds who were here today have been the lucky ones, well loved & well fed! :)
