Enjoying the sun

Or so it seemed. This chirpy fellow was just one of many birds in the garden today - the most surprising of which was an pheasant. I know we're on the outskirts of the city, but still didn't expect to see one of those in the garden! Unfortunately it wandered off before I could grab my camera, but our robin always seems happy to pose for a photo.
