Lens Repair

Spent a good part of today trying out my lens servicing skills on my latest Ebay lens purchase...a Minolta 'Beercan' 70-210 mm F4 zoom. Unfortunately my skills have so far abandoned me...the lens still doesn't give a sharp focus....will persist as long as the foul weather keeps me indoors.
