Horse of the South

In Gateshead you get the Angel of the North; at Goodwood we have Artemis, the Horse of the South. This was news to me today actually as I took a birthday walk up the Trundle and couldn't help but notice the 30 foot sculpture of a horse's head that most certainly wasn't there last time I visited!

I realise that my photo doesn't give you any perspective, but there are some pictures in this report that do.

I've had a really good day comprising my photographic expedition, a pub lunch, some sales shopping and this evening it's family movie time (Twilight: New Moon). I'll be catching up on my commenting soon.
