The river was still frozen this morning. But a thaw was on its way - as I pressed the shutter for this blip I heard a crack and turned around to see the dogs on the ice. How stupid are terriers? Anyway, managed to get them off before they started jumping up and down shouting 'Look at me on the ice!', so I won't be disinherited over that, at least.

I have never worked out why the moorings on this jetty have the letters ONB on them. I really should find out. Meanwhile, here is what this view looks like from the other side in another season.
