Tea Eggs

This is a Tea Egg. Eggs are boiled and the removed from the boiling water and the shells are cracked. They are then placed back in boiling water with a mixture of tea, soy sauce and sometimes a cinnamon stick or other spices.. the flavours seep through the egg and the pattern from the cracks makes for an interesting picture.

Very good apparently.. I had one once but didn't like it.
