Just the two of us. No tree, no presents, no big meal. Exactly the way we like it.

True to Christmas tradition, we picked this day to start the annual purge: if it hasn't been worn, used, or thought of since last Christmas, it is out of here.

The "note" from Santa I was asked to leave next door was a huge hit due to the official Santa stationary I made, complete with picture of the Santa she saw at the mall last week. The comment was: "That was the real Santa I saw at the mall, that is his picture on the letter!!" I think the concept of multiple Santa reps, all dressed like the boss is starting to creep in but this may prolong the belief in a single real one just a bit longer.
